In 2021, Janadhare Trust launched the Little Brain Pre-school, initially established as a day care center for families struggling to balance work and childcare. Many of these families, including daily wage workers like construction laborers and domestic helpers, needed a safe and nurturing environment for their children while they worked.
As the program evolved, we expanded our focus. Beyond providing care and protection, we introduced basic writing and counting lessons, which have had a tremendous impact. These foundational skills not only prepared children for formal schooling but also made learning enjoyable and engaging for them.
This year, the preschool has taken another step forward by introducing a structured syllabus designed to prepare children for formal schooling, all while continuing to care for them during their parents' work hours. To date, the program has benefited more than 50 children.
Supporting this program is crucial for families with working parents, as it ensures their children receive both care and early education in a safe environment. Your support can help us reach even more children and provide them with the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.
